Addicted to Artistic Improvement

"I'm addicted to self-improvement. The thing is, there's so damn much about myself to improve." (A.J. Jacobs)

Five things that will help you improve your art:

1. Draw, draw daily take a sketch book with doodle think with a pencil.

2. Study color, make color charts. This is the great advice from the artist Richard Schmid.

3. Study paintings and painters that you like. What do they do to get those results?

4.Upgrade your art supplies. When you use the best the results show it.

5.Increase your power of observation. Really look at things. How the light changes the color.Keeping a sketch notebook start to really observe things, in the  room,  in the  garden or in your own backyard — makes everyday observation and drawings. Use the sketches for paintings.
